Note:
PeaceFall was originally released on the Google play store. However after a number of years it had to be removed as I could no longer update the security settings required since I stopped owning the GameSalad Engine. OVERVIEW:
Developed on the GameSalad Game Engine and published on the Google Play Store, PeaceFall was a personal solo project which I worked on during the summer of 2015. It is a fall down game with a relaxing atmosphere that explores a poem I had previously written. Players play an abstract shape as it falls perpetually, dashing and dodging obstacles along the way, the objective being to get as far as the player can. Publishing To The Market
- My aim behind starting this project was to create a video game from scratch and then publish it for the world to play, so that I could get hands on experience of the entire game development cycle. This was my first ever solo project and I got to learn loads from it. One of the most important things I got to learn was that a game is never completely finished, and that more can always be done to polish it. However there comes a time when the game has to ship, which in and of itself is a huge part of the cycle as well. Creating all the features and making a final build of the game does not mean that all the work is done, as marketing and publishing it take a lot of time and effort as well.
