OVERVIEW:
Once Upon a Puppet follows the story of Drev (a Puppet) and Nieve (a Stagehand) as they are inextricably joined together by magical threads, and embark on a journey to save the entire Kingdom. The game is a 3D puzzle platformer where the player controls the duo as one, utilizing both their skills and affordances in order to overcome challenges as they journey through a theatrical world. |

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Level Designer
- Was responsible for half of the 10+ total levels of the game, and provided feedback and polish to the rest
- Connected the story of the game with the flow of the levels as part of the overall design team
- Aligned on the overall vision of the levels with the Art team and set dressed some sections
- Iterated over gameplay features, and implemented events and mechanics in the levels
- Designed the layout of Puppet Town, a key location in the story of the game and brought it to life in engine

Since this project is currently in development and a key part of it is its story I'll keep spoilers to a minimum, and hold off on publishing any specific details, though I'll be happy to have a conversation around the work I have done for the project while chatting.
